Proyecto I´K: Estrategias de reflexión poética sobre la lengua y cultura Ayuuk (Mixe de Oaxaca).
La pieza POJ reflexiona sobre la cualidad sonora de una palabra Ayuuk y su relación con la imagen en movimiento; la cual registra una intervención al paisaje de la sierra Mixe de Oaxaca, lograda con la manipulación de materiales ideológicos del estado mexicano (libros de texto), cuyo objetivo era la imposición del español como lengua oficial de México, continuando con el linguicidio en el país, además de la homogenización e inclusión de los pueblos indígenas al “desarrollo nacional”.
I´K Project: Strategies for poetic reflection on the Ayuuk language and culture.
The POJ piece reflects on the sonorous quality of an Ayuuk word and its relationship with the moving image; which records an intervention in the landscape of the Mixe mountain range of Oaxaca, achieved with the manipulation of ideological materials from the Mexican state (textbooks), whose objective was the imposition of Spanish as the official language of Mexico, continuing with the linguicide in the country, in addition to the homogenization and inclusion of indigenous peoples in “national development.”
