Pieza que fusiona la escritura en lengua Ayuuk (Mixe de Oaxaca, México) y el graffiti como acto ilegal. La obra, en términos espaciales, sucede en zonas no comunes para el ejercicio del graffiti, pues se realiza en lugares abiertos de una comunidad rural, específicamente en terrenos de siembra y cultivo.
La acción vincula un elemento aparentemente ajeno a la cultura Ayuuk, para hacer simbiosis al momento de dejar huella en los espacios descritos. Dicha huella se convierte en un acto de resistencia y clandestino, igual que la afirmación de la identidad de cualquier cultura indígena en nuestro país y entorno social; porque dicha identidad se plantea, desde la visión hegemónica, como sinónimo de atraso e ignorancia. Afirmar y defender mi identidad se vuelve, entonces, un acto de resistencia.
A piece that fuses writing in the Ayuuk language (Mixe from Oaxaca, México) and graffiti as an illegal act. The work, in spatial terms, takes place in areas not common for the practice of graffiti, since it is carried out in open spaces in a rural community, specifically in fields of sowing and cultivation.
The action links an element apparently foreign to the Ayuuk culture, to create symbiosis at the moment of leaving a mark in the spaces described. This mark becomes an act of resistance and clandestine, just like the affirmation of the identity of any indigenous culture in our country and social environment; because this identity is presented, from the hegemonic vision, as synonymous with backwardness and ignorance. Affirming and defending my identity becomes, then, an act of resistance.
